Classes at The Dance Place are always in transition. New classes form up every month, so it's a good idea to check the schedule regularly. Of course, we do maintain our traditional classes that cover the basics in a wide variety of dances such as Foxtrot, Waltz, Rumba & Swing. But we also like to focus in on Salsa, Merengue, Club Cha Cha and other easy-to-learn and fun-to-do dances to make your life easier when you get out on the town.
Eddy Deynes, AKA Salsa Eddy, recently started several Salsa classes at the studio. For details, drop by and pick up one of his flyers.
Guennadi Iakounine teaches several classes on International Standard and Latin American dancing each week. He even offers a class for children ages 6 - 10.
Phillip Stephens offers training for teachers interested in gaining Professional Degree Certification. The US Imperial Society of Teachers of Dancing (US ISTD) syllabi are used for all training. The practical dance theory contained in these syllabi are backed by 100 years of dance standard excellence developed by the world's leading dance examinations board. The US ISTD is the only US ballroom dance organization offering academic qualifications recognized throughout the world.
