Pre-Advanced Ballroom Class. Your next step after the "Second Steps" or any other pre-intermediate ballroom course
August Dance is Rumba.
After going through our First Steps (Level 1) and Second Steps (Level 2) classes, you are ready for the more advanced actions and patterns taught in our Intermediate (Level 3) classes.
At this stage in your dancing, you've learned several patterns in the 6 dances covered in our Level 1 and Level 2 classes. You are ready to "branch out" a bit, and add some more complex movements to your dancing. The Intermediate (Level 3) class is the perfect place for you to jump in and get your feet wet.
In this class you'll learn steps such as Grapevine actions in Foxtrot, Argentine Rocks in Tango, Simple Oversways in Waltz, Foxtrot, and Tango, Split Cuban Breaks in Cha-Cha, Sliding Doors in Rumba and "Moochie Walks" in Swing. These steps and others will all be taught in the Intermediate (Level 3) classes along with techniques for improving your dance frame, your dance posture, your leading and following skills, your footwork and other important aspects of dancing.
At The Dance Place, our class and private lessons are designed to teach you to dance so that other people will want to be your dance partner.
