2nd Steps
Mar 6 - 13, 2009
Level 2 Ballroom Class. Your next class after a "First Steps" or any other beginner ballroom course
Mar 6 dances are Foxtrot & Rumnba
Mar 13 dances are Tango & Cha Cha
Mar 20 - NO CLASS
Mar 27 dance are Waltz & Swing
Once you've completed the Basic Movements taught in our First Steps (Level 1), or any other beginner class, the Second Steps (Level 2) class is the place to start for further development of your dance skills. Dances covered are Foxtrot, Waltz, Tango, Cha-Cha, Rumba and Swing.
The Second Steps (Level 2) class is designed to refine the patterns learned in the First Steps (Level 1) classes. At this stage, we learn to lead or follow with less effort, we learn new elements, such as advancing a Foxtrot Basic Left Turn into a Cross Body Lead. We add a few more advanced patterns and get you feeling more comfortable with your overall dancing.
At The Dance Place, our class and private lessons are designed to teach you to dance so that other people will want to be your partner.
