Pre-Advanced Ballroom Class. Your next step after the "Second Steps" or any other pre-intermediate ballroom course
August dance is West Coast Swing
Level 3 Ballroom builds on what you've learned in the First Steps (Level 1) and Second Steps (Level 2) classes. Though slightly more advanced that the preceding 2 levels, the material taught in this class is easy to master in short order.
At this stage in your dancing, you've learned several patterns in the 6 dances covered in our Level 1 and Level 2 classes. You are ready to "branch out" a bit, and add some more complex movements to your repertoire. This Pre-Advanced (Level 3) class is the perfect place for you to jump in and get your feet wet. In this class we cover 2 dances during each month. Pairings are Waltz & Foxtrot, Rumba & Cha-cha and Tango & Swing. You'll learn steps in Rumba that can also be danced in Cha-cha, steps in Waltz that can also be danced in Foxtrot and a variety of steps in Tango and Swing
Some of our "fancy" steps include Oversways, Spins, kicks and flicks, but these are all quite easy to "master" so don't let the fancy names keep you from attending the classes.
At The Dance Place, our class and private lessons are designed to teach you to dance so that other people will want to be your dance partner.
